About Nubia Cabrera Ortega
- I offer a safe and confidential space for you to bring your concerns.
- I work short term and long term with individuals and couples.
- As a qualified and experienced counsellor with many years working in the NHS and in private practice, my framework in helping others is based in our interconnectedness to each other and the world at large, finding natural ways to mindfully nourish ourselves, and that we all have the resources we need to take care of ourselves.
- My job is to support you in hearing, understanding and heeding these within yourself.
My training, work experience and any achievement
- Qualified Integrative Counsellor holding a Postgraduate Diploma in Psychosynthesis Counselling.
- Training in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression and Systemic Family Therapy.
- Advanced Couples Therapy Diploma.
- I trained with Psychology of Vision and the work of Dr Chuck Spezzano for 12 years.
- Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy.
- I regularly attend Professional Development courses to refine and develop my skills.
- I attend ongoing clinical supervision.

- Then the first session is an assessment which lasts 1.5hrs where I will ask standard introductory questions to my new clients about their life.
